LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated July 14, 2026
Draft migration of the current Mattheus terms baseline. This content remains subject to external legal review before publication.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mattheus, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated policies. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Mattheus provides software infrastructure for market research, AI-assisted workflow drafting, historical testing, paper trading, previews, policy checks, and supported execution workflows. Availability varies by account, venue, geography, certification status, and feature gate. Public live execution remains disabled while the launch verdict is NO_GO.
3. Eligibility
You must have legal capacity to enter these Terms, satisfy applicable age and jurisdiction requirements, and use the Service only where permitted. Mattheus may restrict access based on sanctions, venue rules, risk, or compliance obligations.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for account activity, connected wallets, credentials, API keys, devices, recovery methods, and keeping information accurate. Do not share credentials or private signing material.
5. Approval-First Execution
AI output alone does not authorize a live action. Supported execution requires the applicable preview, policy checks, account and signer readiness, venue health, feature gates, and explicit approval path. A changed payload requires a new approval.
6. Trading and Financial Risk
Trading, digital assets, securities, options, leverage, lending, liquidity provision, and automated strategies involve substantial risk. You may lose some or all committed funds and, where leverage or borrowing applies, more than an initial margin contribution. Mattheus does not promise profits, yields, fills, uptime, or outcomes.
7. AI Outputs and User Review
AI-generated research, strategies, code, summaries, and previews may be wrong, incomplete, stale, delayed, or unsuitable. You must independently review every material input, assumption, limit, and action before approval.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not violate law or regulation; manipulate markets or spoof; bypass venue limits or terms; interfere with security or availability; reverse-engineer restricted parts of the Service; or resell access without written authorization.
9. Fees and Billing
Applicable subscription, usage, network, venue, gas, and third-party fees are disclosed through the relevant product or agreement. You authorize approved charges and remain responsible for third-party costs.
10. Intellectual Property
Mattheus and its licensors retain rights in the Service, branding, software, and documentation. You retain rights in content you provide, subject to the limited rights needed to operate and improve the requested Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mattheus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits or data, market losses, or third-party venue and protocol failures. Non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service. Mattheus may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, security, legal, venue, or operational reasons. Obligations that by nature should survive termination remain in effect.
13. Governing Law
Governing-law and dispute terms will be identified in the applicable controlled-beta invitation or written service agreement. This section remains subject to external legal review and does not override rights that cannot be waived.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and will provide appropriate notice of material changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
